As a Chiropractic Navigator, you’re more than a scheduler or front desk contact—you’re the connection point between patient care and operational excellence. Your work supports not just one provider, but the entire system that ensures patients feel informed, supported, and cared for from check-in to follow-up.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly, guide them through the intake and checkout process, and ensure all documentation is complete
  • Help patients understand their treatment plans, clinic services, and home care instructions
  • Schedule visits, confirm appointments, and provide timely follow-up communication to support continuity of care
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain essential supplies and equipment
  • Assist with patient flow during visits to keep the day running smoothly for both patients and providers
  • Monitor scheduling trends, appointment metrics, and cancellations to identify workflow opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records in the EMR, ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation at all times
  • Verify insurance eligibility, obtain prior authorizations, and process billing codes (CPT, ICD-10)
  • Track provider productivity and assist with compliance documentation related to licensure and continuing education
  • Act as a liaison between providers, patients, internal departments, and external contacts
