Job Purpose and Position Overview
We are searching for a knowledgeable, caring chiropractor to assist patients with injuries and impairments of the neuromusculoskeletal system, including the muscles, nerves, and bones, especially those of the back and neck. The chiropractor will speak to patients to discuss injuries and health concerns, assess their physical condition and lifestyle, administer treatment, and provide advice about extended care and pain management. You should be thorough, attentive, and possess a strong understanding of musculoskeletal and nerve injuries and how to treat them.
To be a successful chiropractor, you should be kind and communicative with exceptional active listening skills. You should also be able to analyze symptoms and provide comprehensive treatment or recommend other doctors or specialists if needed.
Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions, and treatments.
Understanding of stretches, exercises, therapies, and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health.
Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations and medical tests.
A commitment to providing the best possible care.
Working with patients to learn about injuries or identify health concerns and create a plan for treatment or management.
Administering holistic treatments, such as spinal manipulation, adjustments, massage, and hot and cold compresses.
Providing patients with tips to improve their lifestyle, including nutrition, exercise plans, and stretches.
Tracking patient information, keeping detailed records of conditions and care.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Skills
Doctorate of chiropractic degree.
State license and valid malpractice insurance.
Strong communication and active listening skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, conditions, and treatments.
Understanding of stretches, exercises, therapies, and dietary changes that may help patients manage their overall health.
Ability to analyze patient conditions based on observations and medical tests.
A commitment to providing the best possible care.
Training Requirements:
RPMS, EHR, NO Fear, Records Management, HIPPA/Privacy Act, Annual Ethics, ISSA, Counterintelligence, Hatch Act, and Hazard Communication General Awareness, Motor Vehicle Training, Annual Fire Extinguisher, and others as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Normal to light office work which includes the ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
Cognitive Requirements:
Reading, writing, calculating.
Excellent social interaction skills.
Reasoning/Analysis
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team.
Works with minimal to no supervision.
Language Requirements:
Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak the English language fluently.
Must be able to continually and effectively employ professional verbal and written communications skills.
Certificates, Licenses & Registrations:
All applicants will comply with 45 CFR 1301, Subpart D, Section 1301.31, C and D, which require all prospective employees to sign a declaration prior to employment regarding all arrests and convictions of child abuse or violent felonies and to comply with PL 101-630 and PL 101-637 regarding criminal records check.
