Key Responsibilities: Patient Evaluation and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including reviewing their medical history and symptoms. Perform physical examinations, including postural analysis, spinal assessments, and range-of-motion tests. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., X-rays, MRI) when necessary to identify the source of musculoskeletal disorders. Treatment and Care: Provide chiropractic adjustments and other manual therapies (e.g., spinal manipulation, soft tissue mobilization) to treat musculoskeletal issues such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, joint dysfunction, etc. Create personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, focusing on improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall health. Offer guidance on lifestyle changes, ergonomics, and exercises to prevent further injury and improve well-being. Patient Education: Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment plan, and the benefits of chiropractic care in managing their conditions. Advise on posture correction, stretching exercises, nutrition, and stress management to support long-term health and wellness. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records, including patient assessments, treatments provided, progress notes, and follow-up plans in compliance with DHA regulations. Document any changes in the patient’s condition and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Collaboration and Referrals: Work closely with other healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists, physicians, and surgeons to ensure coordinated care for patients. Refer patients to other specialists (e.g., orthopedists, neurologists) when necessary for further evaluation or treatment. Compliance and Professional Standards: Adhere to DHA regulations, guidelines, and standards of practice. Stay current with continuing medical education and professional development in chiropractic care. Ensure patient safety and confidentiality are maintained at all times. Skills and Qualifications: Education: Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited institution. Licensing: Valid DHA license to practice as a chiropractor in Dubai. Experience: Previous experience in chiropractic care (clinical experience preferred). Skills: Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal conditions and spinal health. Expertise in spinal manipulation and other chiropractic techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Job Type: Full-time
