Full job description Chiropractor FORTIS Spine & Sport is growing! We are modern facility in Kanata South. Patients of the clinic include the active general population, recreational, amateur and professional athletes. We are now looking to add a Chiropractor to our team! Every day is different at FORTIS; here what our day to day include: Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing Approaching care from a holistic point of view Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team including registered physiotherapists, registered massage therapists, acupuncturists and strength coaches Providing hands-on manual adjustment of the spine to help heal, restore mobility, and reduce pain in muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and joints Utilizing treatment approaches such as soft tissue therapy, acupuncture, manipulation, nutrition, rehabilitation exercises to help treat headaches, back pain, neck pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis. (unique modalities also strongly considered) Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans based on analysis and clinical reasoning *Must be in good standing with the College of Chiropractors of Ontario.
